Early Monday morning - quiet streets, clear sky and me pouring myself a nice cup of coffee ☕️ my sister brought me from Greece 🇬🇷.

Where's the new notebook my mom gave me? I was wondering.

Open laptop and notebook with a pen on a wooden table. A mug and flowers in a jar add a cozy touch, with an outdoor view in the background.

I opened my website and was getting ready to continue writing a new blog article, when suddenly, I felt confused and a little scared. There was a new draft for an article I had never written!!

For a second, I thought someone had hacked my website 😮.

But...left me an article to publish? Yeah right.

Title: "Navigating Spanish Hospitality Job Opportunities" - review and approve the post.

I must say, it looked amazing - catchy headlines, SEO optimized, nice images, great formatting. But... it didn't sound like me. I don't use expressions like "vibrant Spanish culture" or "a bustling restaurant."

It turned out that WIX has a new AI Marketing Agent feature, that writes content on your behalf “in your brand voice.” And it made me think...

Is AI taking away the joy of doing work you're actually good at?

Smiling woman with glasses sits at a table in a dimly lit cafe, holding a pen. Open book and laptop in front, chandelier overhead.

❤️ Because, I love expressing my ideas and creativity through writing and marketing. And I enjoy doing the work where I feel I am good at and what I've studied for years with curiosity.

Sure - I could save time by letting AI write about topics I don't have time for. But doing something I like - gives me joy and satisfaction of using my skills. It makes me feel useful, what is also important from the mental health perspective.

🇪🇸 If you speak Spanish - read this article! You’ll find an original interview I did with the one and only Arcade Bar 👾 in Seville.

As waiter job is often a first step for foreigners in a new country, I wanted to know how to stand out from the competition. For their last opening, they received 3,000 job applications. So you’ll definitely get some good tips.

This article took me several days to write. But no regrets though. Pure satisfaction.

And as for the "Navigating Spanish Hospitality Job Opportunities" article?

I hit ❌ - Dismiss.
